Empty new build or shell
No furniture in the way. The time goes into film, labels, high frames, and dust that has fallen through the plot.

Interior
A builders clean is the first full clean after the dusty trades have finished: plaster dust, stickers, paint spots, and the debris left on floors. Book it when sanding and cutting have stopped, not while a plasterer is still skimming. We cover England, Scotland, and Wales. Send photos and a postcode on the form or WhatsApp.

Book the builders clean once the last dusty trade has left and the plasterer has said the skim is dry enough to wipe. If decorators are still filling nail holes, ask for the builders clean now and a sparkle clean after their touch-ups.
No furniture in the way. The time goes into film, labels, high frames, and dust that has fallen through the plot.
Dust has drifted into rooms that were not part of the works. Furniture and floors next door need covering before we start.
The sparkle clean is a second visit for glass, inside units, and floors once snagging paint is done. It is not a repeat of the builders clean.
Included, and what we will not do
How the work is done
We work top to bottom. High frames and the tops of wardrobes first, then glass, then the floor last so dust is not walked back onto a finished surface. A domestic vacuum without a fine filter blows plaster dust back into the room, so that is not the tool for this mess.
White dust on skirtings the morning after you have hoovered, grit in the bath, and a haze on new glass are the usual signs the builders clean has not been done yet, or was done while sanding was still going on.
What changes the quote
The quote follows the number of rooms, how much white plaster dust is sitting in them, how much glass and paint spotting there is, and whether the site is empty or still occupied. A one-room decoration is not priced like a whole-house skim. Stairs, parking, and a flat with no lift add time. We confirm the figure from photos and a room count before the visit is agreed.
After the visit
Keep dusty trades out after we leave. Ventilate, but do not sweep a dry floor or you lift the film we have just taken up. If someone sands a door the next day, that room needs doing again.
A single room with light dust is a fair DIY job if you have a vacuum with a fine filter, microfibre cloths, and you wipe frames before the floor. A whole house after plastering usually fails at the tracks, the tops of door linings, and inside radiators, which is where people book us.
Dust comes back when a trade returns, not because the clean “wore off”. Book the builders clean after the dusty work, and the sparkle after snagging. Cleaning wet skim marks the plaster, so we wait until it is dry.
Send the postcode and a few photos. We quote from the rooms and the dust. Use the form or WhatsApp.
Dust and light debris, frames, skirtings, switches, interior glass, and the kitchen and bathroom. It is not a skip, a repaint, or the final sparkle.
After sanding, cutting, and plastering have finished, and after the skim is dry enough to wipe. If decorators come back, plan a sparkle clean afterwards.
Only if more dust is made, or if it was left inside radiators and tracks. We clean those because that is what keeps settling on the floor.
Small offcuts on the floors come away with the clean. A site still stacked with plasterboard is a clearance job first. We do not provide a skip.
Tell us the rooms, what the trades have just finished, and when you need the site. Photos help.
