New glass with factory labels
Stickers and blue protective film. Film that has baked in the sun takes longer and can leave a ghost.

Surfaces
Window and glass cleaning after building work is paint dots, plaster spots, labels, and silicone smears on glass, mirrors, and shower screens. It is not a six-weekly domestic window round, and it is not abseiling. We cover England, Scotland, and Wales. Send photos and a postcode on the form or WhatsApp.

Interior glass can be done at the builders clean. Exterior faces and a final polish belong with the sparkle, once no one is still painting nearby.

Emulsion dots scrape. A plaster blob on glass lifts. Silicone smears need a solvent and patience.
Same care as windows. Abrasive pads haze them.
Included, and what we will not do
How the work is done
Soften labels, lift paint with a blade only on ordinary float glass, then wash and dry. Silicone is dissolved, not ground off. Frames are wiped after the glass so the runoff is not left in the track.
Dots that catch the light at the end of the day, a milky patch where film was peeled badly, and black silicone fingerprints on a new screen.
What changes the quote
A house with a few paint spots is a short add-on to the builders clean. Every pane filmed, plus silicone on the frames and a conservatory roof you can walk, is its own visit. Tell us the number of floors and whether the outside is reachable without scaffolding.
After the visit
Do not use a razor on a self-cleaning or anti-reflective coating. After we leave, a normal glass cleaner is enough. Fresh paint from a snagging brush means those panes are wiped again at the sparkle.
Warm water and patience will lift many new labels. A razor on the wrong glass, or on a pane with grit on it, scratches it. If you can feel grit, vacuum the sill before you touch the glass.
Spots do not grow back. New spots mean someone painted again. A haze that returns after rain on the outside is usually a film we were not asked to do, or a coating that cannot be scraped.
Send the postcode and a few photos. We quote from the rooms and the dust. Use the form or WhatsApp.
Emulsion and many tradesperson splashes, yes, on standard glass. We stop if the pane is coated or the mark is under a surface film we cannot lift without damage.
Ground floor and what a normal ladder reaches, when it is in the quote. High facades need agreed access. We do not turn up to abseil.
On clean float glass, used flat, it is the normal way to lift paint. On plastic, acrylic, and many coated panes, we do not use one.
Interior glass in the rooms we are cleaning, yes. A separate external glazing contract is quoted on its own.
Tell us the rooms, what the trades have just finished, and when you need the site. Photos help.
